Healthy Start

  Healthy Start is an Australia- wide strategy to support parents with learning difficulties and promote a healthy start to life for their young children. Healthy Start is a national strategy to better resource the practitioners and organisations who support these families - and in turn to create safe, stimulating and supportive environments for young children.

Alberta Association for Community Living

  The Alberta Association for Community Living has been serving children and adults with developmental disabilities for over 50 years. AACL aims to foster family leadership and advocacy in the pursuit of fully inclusive community lives for children and adults with developmental disabilities. 

Alberta Centre for Child, Family and Community Research

  The Alberta Centre for Child, Family and Community Research is an innovative resource that develops and mobilizes evidence-based priority research into policy. The Centre is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that is operated arms-length from government.

Alberta Parent Link Centre's 

  Parent Link Centre’s provide parents and their children with supports to ensure that the children come to school ready to learn and ensure that parents have the supports needed to help their children develop and fulfill their potential. Parents will be able to access information about community services, obtain referrals, and meet other parents, children, and families.

The Centre for Autism Services Alberta

  The Centre for Autism Services Alberta (formerly Family Linkages Foundation of Alberta) is a non-profit registered charity offering services for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and has been providing services to children and families affected by ASD in the Greater Edmonton Area since 1997. 

Connections Counselling  

  Connections Counselling is a registered charity that, since 1990, has been providing vital counselling services to intellectually disabled Calgarians. Connections has two main purposes: to provide family support to parents with an intellectual disability and their children, and to provide individual counselling to persons with an intellectual disability.  

Alberta Children and Youth Services 

   Under the direction of the Minister,  offers a range of programs and services for children and families. Alberta Children and Youth Services supports families and communities, helping them to provide nurturing, safe environments for their children.
