When Parents Have Learning Difficulties - Round Table
On August 25th, 2011, the Family and Disability Studies Initiative hosted a round table entitled “When Parents have Learning Difficulties”
The event was designed for researchers, practitioners and policy makers to:
- Hear about the latest research on parents and parenting with learning difficulties
- Participate in a policy and practice issues forum
- Take part in setting the research agenda
- Discover how to get involved with an international network dedicated to understanding and enhancing the lives of parents with learning difficulties and their children; and
- Network with other policy makers, researchers and practitioners
