When Parents Have Learning Difficulties - Round Table

On August 25th, 2011, the Family and Disability Studies Initiative hosted a round table entitled “When Parents have Learning Difficulties”

The event was designed for researchers, practitioners and policy makers to:

  • Hear about the latest research on parents and parenting with learning difficulties
  • Participate in a policy and practice issues forum
  • Take part in setting the research agenda
  • Discover how to get involved with an international network dedicated to understanding and enhancing the lives of parents with learning difficulties and their children; and
  • Network with other policy makers, researchers and practitioners
